Candle Care & Safety Tips

 

Trim the Wick.

Please trim the wick 1/8 - 3/8 inch before initial burn and every burn after. This will reduce large flames and excessive flickering.

 

Even Burn.

To prevent uneven wax, always burn candle long enough to for the wax to melt and pool to the edges of the glass. Burn candle 2-4 hours at a time.

Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Never leave children or pets alone in a room where candles are burning or still hot. Liquid candle wax can inflict serious burns.

 

Never leave candle unattended.

Always monitor a burning candle. Keep candle out of drafty areas.

Never touch or move a burning candle.

Do not try to move a burning candle. It will be hot and may burn you.

 

Discontinue Burn.

Stop burning candle when 1/2 inch of wax is left in the jar. This will prevent heat damage to the jar and surface where candle is burning.

Air Bubbles.

Air bubbles may occur due to surrounding temperature changes.
